Every decision, one feed

New AML decisions from the county administrative boards land in one feed, tagged, searchable and up to date.

Read them in full

Structured summaries plus the complete decision texts, what the firm did, what was lacking, what it led to.

Recurring themes

Cited deficiencies are grouped into themes, so the patterns in supervisory practice become visible.

Benchmark your own

Hold your firm’s risk assessment up against what supervisors actually cite, decision support, never a guarantee.

Read. Analyse. Benchmark.

From a newly published decision to a documented review of your own general risk assessment, in one flow.

Every new decision, in one feed

When a County Administrative Board publishes a new AML decision, it appears in your feed with a structured summary: the firm’s situation, the deficiencies cited and the sanction. Open the full text whenever you want the details, no more scanning three authorities’ websites.

Important to know

A support tool. Not a guarantee

Vidd helps you read, analyse and learn from supervisory practice. What the module can never do is take over your firm’s responsibility, and we want that to be unmistakably clear.

Decision support, not legal advice

Summaries, themes and benchmark flags are analytical aids. They are not legal advice and never replace your own reading of the decisions or the regulations.

No guarantee of compliance

A benchmark against past decisions cannot guarantee or ensure that your firm complies with the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Supervisors assess each firm individually, and future decisions may weigh things differently.

The assessment remains yours

The general risk assessment is, and remains, the firm’s own responsibility. Vidd suggests what may be worth reviewing, your firm decides what applies and documents its own conclusions.

Frequently asked questions

Which authorities’ decisions does vidd monitor?

The module monitors AML supervisory decisions from the three County Administrative Boards responsible for anti-money-laundering supervision of accounting and audit-related businesses: Stockholm, Västra Götaland and Skåne. New decisions are collected, summarised and tagged as they are published.

How does benchmarking my risk assessment work?

You maintain your firm’s general risk assessment in vidd (or upload it). The module maps its sections against the deficiency themes cited in recent decisions (for example a too-generic risk assessment, missing industry-specific risks or undocumented reasoning) and flags sections that may deserve a review, with the underlying decisions linked.

Does this guarantee we pass an inspection?

No, and we want to be explicit about this. The module is a support tool: it shows what supervisors have cited in past decisions so you can review your own work with better information. It cannot guarantee or ensure compliance, and it does not replace your firm’s own assessment or legal advice. Responsibility for the risk assessment always remains with the firm.

How quickly do new decisions show up?

Published decisions are typically collected, summarised and tagged within a few days of publication. The deficiency statistics and your benchmark update automatically as new decisions arrive.

What is a firm-wide (general) risk assessment?

Under the Swedish Anti-Money Laundering Act, every obliged entity must maintain a general risk assessment: a documented analysis of how its own services could be used for money laundering or terrorist financing. It is the foundation for the firm’s procedures, for each client’s risk classification and for the level of customer due diligence applied.

Which County Administrative Boards exercise AML supervision?

Three boards share responsibility for anti-money-laundering supervision of, among others, accounting and bookkeeping businesses: the County Administrative Boards of Stockholm, Västra Götaland and Skåne. Vidd monitors published AML decisions from all three.

Are decisions from the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors covered?

Not yet. Today the module focuses on AML decisions from the County Administrative Boards, which supervise accounting firms and other obliged entities. Auditors are supervised by the Swedish Inspectorate of Auditors (Revisorsinspektionen), and coverage of its published practice is on our roadmap.
